Animals markings and pattern are photographic images taken by the artist then silk screened and etched onto large panels of laminated glass. The floating panels are highlighted with prismatic colour and depth of images with a three print process. The University of Florida (UF), College of Veterinary Medicine (CVM) is the state’s only veterinary college. Its mission includes educating the veterinarians of the future, research into animal, human and environmental health and providing state-of-the-art patient care to large animals, small companion animals and exotic pets through the UF Veterinary Medical Center (VMC).

The goal of the project is to create a work that allows the viewer to have a moment of pause, as the clinic is often the “last resort hope” in saving a beloved animal best friend.  The clinic is invested in the people who share a special relationship with their animals and serves as a resource to thousands of veterinarians in the field who seek consultation on their most difficult cases.
